You are right, he could have left after 5 years, but he didn’t. It pisses me off to see women blaming the Tunisians for a failed relationship, it’s always the Tunisian’s fault.
We have contacted her bloke, he said he’s going to get the police involved and he’s willing to bankrupt her with a lawsuit.

This is the opposite of a rat.

He’s working and earning his own money. He was married for 10 years so didn’t run off once he got ILR after 5 years.

If your marriage to a Tunisian breaks down then it doesn’t make him a rat. Everyone is entitled to leave a relationship that they are not happy in.
