Here’s my story with TLR forum and I want your honest opinion.
When I first joined, this is what I got :
“Why u curious queen dihia Tunisian girls/ women know exactly what’s going off with the rats it’s common knowledge in Tunisia that rats are every where and u all know what they do really something here don’t sound right
And Are u really curious or are u a undercover rat trying to find things out
Or maybe your a new rat trying to find out how to be a better rat
And get familiar with the forum that’s sounds some what suspicious”
Me :
I signed up to an open public forum that is not restricted to a country, nationality or race.
Do you welcome all your new members this strange way or it’s only with Tunisians ?

Then a nice reply to Moonshie from a member called “Unicorn” (There are some nice members there)

At the forum, surely we have to accept things at face value, as we dont really know what’s true or not (when written down).
To have a female Tunisian on here is surely a positive, they can offer all sorts of knowledge and inside information, offer advice and translations. There is a huge difference from living in a country and not being born and raised there, to being an original person from that country.”

Anyone is welcome here @Queen_Dihia. We keep an open mind but I’m sure the members are suspicious about Tunisians who join the forum. It will all calm down once it’s clear you are here for the right reasons.
Unfortunately there where tunisian love rats who joined the forum to pressure the victims to remove the posts or to remove their photo’s.
This is a support forum for victims of love rats from Tunisia so hopefully you are able to help the victims and to offer advice

I have many “What if…” situations, but I’ll mention this one :
Suppose (in Theory), you became a very good friend with a western member here in the forum (for more than 20 years). This member which is your dear best friend has a daughter, and somehow, your son fell in love with her, and whated to marry her. What would you do?
If children don’t conform to their rules, it threatens the parents’ membership status in the group as well as threatens the parents’ own sense of self. If the children grow up to be free thinkers, these parents will regard them as delinquent, disappointments, rebellious, wicked…
The best way of thining (in my opinion) is parents must work on their children to be better than them not a copy.

We both Tunisian girls in a forum where the majority of members are westerners, it is not about pleasing anyone, it’s about accepting each others differences and have an open mind and the flexibility to accept the “other” without necessarily appeasing the western standard of thinking.

This is not personal at all. I’m sharing my opinions and disagree with yours and vise versa.
What I’m trying to say is that you can have an opinion on a place you have lived, or even holiday etc….but, unless you’ve been physically brought up within that country, your opinion is never going to be 100% correct.
I’m sure you know about the Arab proverb that says” Ahlou Mecca Adra Bi Chi3abiha” : means that the people of a place are the best to know its small/secret roads.
I will exit out to and be going forward hoping that someday we gonna be best friends

Then few days ago, a member called Rubee, wanted to message me via a private message and she couldn’t :

Hello,
I don’t have the option to send private messages to anyone. I have checked my privacy settings and it is correctly saying that members can contact me.
Maybe my account is somehow restricted for sending and receiving messages.
I have messaged the admins about it, and their reply was a complete meh for me.
I’ll share screenshots.
It is when I decided to leave TLR forever. Such a waste of time 🙁
